Common questions about contacts

Can I move my list from MailerLite or ConvertKit?

Yes. Export your contacts to a CSV file from your current tool, upload it to heyhey and map the columns to contact fields. You can add tags during the import.

What happens to duplicates when I import?

heyhey recognises contacts by email address. If an address is already in your list, the data is merged instead of creating a second entry, so nobody gets the same email twice.

How do segments work?

A segment is a saved set of conditions, such as a tag, a list or campaign activity. Contacts join and leave the segment automatically as soon as they meet or stop meeting the conditions.

Can I export my data?

Yes, at any time and in full. You download a CSV file with all your contacts, tags and consent statuses. Your list belongs to you, not to the platform.
