Dashboard overview

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you open your heyhey dashboard. Below we go through every part of it: from the greeting, through the four number cards, to the activity panels.

The greeting

The greeting header changes through the day. Early morning, morning, afternoon, evening and night each have their own message and their own sky image. The greeting uses the time zone saved in your account settings, so if it seems off, that’s where you’ll find the cause.

Below the greeting you’ll see today’s date and the number of new contacts this month, or a neutral line when you don’t have any yet.

The four number cards

At the top of the Dashboard sit four KPI cards. Each one is clickable and opens the page behind that number:

  • Revenue. Your sales from the last 30 days, in your currency. Opens Sales analytics.
  • New customers. Customers from the last 30 days. Opens Orders.
  • Contacts. The total number of your contacts. The line below shows how many joined this month. Opens All contacts.
  • Site visits. Page views from the last 30 days. Opens Website analytics.

The cards read from the same sources as the Analytics pages, so the numbers always match.

Recent activity and quick actions

Recent activity shows your six latest events: new leads, sales, sent campaigns and system messages, each with a coloured icon, a title, a short description and how long ago it happened. Click any row to go to the thing it’s about. Before anything has happened, you’ll see an illustration and a note saying that new leads, sales and campaigns will appear right here.

Next to it sits Quick actions, with five one-click shortcuts: New product, Build a page, Send a campaign, Add contact and View orders. These are not the same four shortcuts as the quick actions button in the top bar, so it’s worth knowing both.

The bottom panels

Top products shows your four best sellers with the product image, number of orders and revenue, plus a link to Sales. Until you have sales, the panel shows an empty state.

Recent contacts shows the five newest people with their initial, name, email address and when they joined your list. Each row opens the contact’s profile, and the View all link opens the full list.

The setup checklist only appears when it has something to tell you. We describe the four steps it shows in Getting started with heyhey.
