Email marketing: an overview
You run your email marketing in the Marketing section, from the same dashboard as the rest of your business.
One-off campaigns
Single sends to your audience: all your contacts, groups with tags, or search results. You can send a campaign straight away or schedule it for a specific date and time. See Sending your first email campaign.
Email builder
A drag-and-drop builder with text, image, button, quote, divider, product card, countdown and layout blocks, plus a plain-text mode for simple messages. Ready-made templates cover newsletters, launches, confirmations and more, and you can save your own sections and templates to reuse. The builder picks up your branding automatically. See Using the email builder.
Automations and sequences
Multi-step sequences deliver a series of messages spread over days, and automations react to events: for example, a new contact from a form gets a welcome series. Steps for recipients who are blocked or over the limit are safely skipped instead of being queued forever. See Automations and sequences.
Double opt-in
Optional: new sign-ups confirm their address by email before they count as subscribed, which keeps your list clean and your deliverability in good shape. See How forms on your pages collect leads.
Sender identity and deliverability
Your emails go out under your own sender identity, and you can authenticate your sending domain so they reach the inbox as often as possible. The setup that makes the difference is in How to avoid the spam folder.
Sending limits
If your heyhey plan has a monthly email sending limit, the counter on the billing page shows how much you’ve used.
