You can restrict any page you build to selected people. Open Website → Pages or Landing pages, click the three-dot menu on the page’s row and choose Edit details.
The “Who can see this page” field
There are three options:
- Everyone (public), the default, with no login needed.
- Members only, which lets in any logged-in member of your site.
- Members with a specific level, which appears once you have at least one level and adds a picker for the level you want.
Save, and the rule applies the next time someone opens the page on your published domain.
What someone without access sees
Someone who isn’t logged in is redirected to the member login page, and the page they were heading to is remembered, so they land on it right after logging in. Someone who is logged in but doesn’t have the required level gets a branded screen saying the page is for members, with the name of the level needed and links back to your site and to their account.
Restrictions work page by page
There is no site-wide switch, so a public sales page and a members-only resources page can sit side by side on the same domain, with the same header and footer.
Levels lock pages, grants lock content
This is where people trip up. Page restrictions check levels. The member area checks grants for products and communities. A member who bought your course is not automatically let in to a page locked to the Premium level, because these are separate systems. See Page access levels and Granting and revoking access.
Deleting a level doesn’t break its pages
A page pointing to a level that no longer exists quietly goes back to being open to any member, so it keeps working while you tidy up your levels.
