Invoices are issued automatically under your own business, with your own details and your own numbering.
Turning on invoicing
Go to Settings → Invoicing. Switch on the toggle and fill in your business details, including the required fields. Add your address, a logo from the media library and a footer note if you want them on the PDF.
Until invoicing is switched on and the required details are filled in, no invoices are issued.
Numbering
The number format is a template made of tokens: {PREFIX}, {YYYY}, {YY}, {MM} and {NO}. For example, {PREFIX}/{YYYY}/{NO} with the prefix INV gives numbers like INV/2026/7. You can also set zero padding and a starting number.
Numbers run sequentially, with no gaps, within a year, and the sequence restarts in January. Changing the starting number only works while nothing has been numbered yet that year.
Use Preview to render a sample PDF from what’s currently in the form. Nothing is saved and no number is used up.
Taxes
Tax rules depend on where your business is registered. If you are VAT-registered in the UAE, check with your accountant what your invoices must include.
How invoices are issued
An invoice is created automatically when money has actually moved. Trials and free orders with a full discount never get one, and each order has exactly one invoice. You can also issue an invoice manually from the order details panel with the Create invoice button.
Your business details are fixed at the moment of issue, so later changes to your settings never rewrite past invoices.
The invoices screen
Open Sales → Invoices. Search by invoice number, buyer name or email, and filter by status. For each invoice you can view or download the PDF, edit the buyer’s billing details (the number and amounts stay frozen), void it (it keeps its number) or resend the confirmation email.
Where buyers get their invoices
The confirmation email goes out once, with the PDF attached, and members can always download their invoices from the member area.
If you use accounting software
If you keep your books in separate accounting software, you can pass new orders to it through the REST API, webhooks or Zapier. See API keys and integrations.
