Payment processing fees

When your customers pay you by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or with PayPal, the provider that handled the transaction charges its own standard processing fee. It’s taken automatically as part of the payment, so there’s nothing to invoice or settle by hand. heyhey adds nothing on top: heyhey’s commission on your sales is 0% on every plan, including the free Starter plan.

Where to see it

Each transaction’s fee shows up in your Stripe or PayPal account, and the rates are set out in your agreement with the provider. In your orders, amounts are recorded as they were at the moment of the charge, so your historical reports stay accurate even if a rate changes later.

What it pays for

This is the payment provider’s fee. The provider uses it to cover card processing, authorisations, security and all the infrastructure that moves money safely straight into your account. Rates differ between providers, so compare their pricing.

What it isn’t

It isn’t heyhey taking a cut of your business. What you earn from your products stays yours, and your heyhey plan fee is fixed and doesn’t grow with your revenue. See Your heyhey subscription.
