Product pricing and checkout links
Open your product and click the Pricing tab. Everything to do with money for that product lives there.
Connect payments first
Until you connect a payment provider in Sales → Payments, the Pricing tab tells you so plainly and no checkout link exists. Once you’re connected, your customers pay by card (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or with PayPal, and subscriptions renew automatically. The whole process is covered in How to accept payments.
Turn on selling
Switch on the product’s selling toggle. While it’s off, the product is free, and the only ways in are granting access manually or including the product in a community. See Granting and revoking access.
Choose how to charge
- One-off payment charges once, and buyers keep their access.
- Subscription bills on a recurring basis, and access lasts as long as the subscription is active.
Subscriptions add three fields: the billing interval (week, month, quarter, six months or year), the number of free trial days up to 90, where 0 means no trial, and an optional setup fee charged upfront to start the trial. Leave the setup fee empty if you want the trial to be genuinely free.
Set the price and currency
The currency list covers what your connected provider can actually settle, so choose the currency you sell in. Below the price sits an optional compare-at price. It’s shown crossed out and must be higher than the actual price.
Checkout link
The link appears once the product can be bought. That means it’s published, selling is switched on, the price is above zero and a connected provider can handle the payment. There’s a copy button next to the link. If you haven’t connected a domain yet, the tab tells you about that first.
Checkout design
The checkout panel pins one of your checkout designs to this product, or leaves the default. You edit the look and colours of your checkout pages in Sales → Checkout. See Checkout settings.
Two fixed rules
A lead magnet is always free, and its Pricing tab says so plainly instead of showing the fields. And to sell several products for one price, build an Offer in Products → Offers instead of pricing each item separately.
