Can I import contacts from another tool?

Yes. A CSV import has three steps: uploading the file, mapping the columns and choosing the options. The wizard guesses the mapping from your column headers, and a tags column creates any missing tags on the fly. One import holds up to 25,000 contacts; for larger files, just split them.

Duplicates are matched by email address: an existing contact is updated, never duplicated, and empty cells don’t overwrite data you already have. An import never re-subscribes anyone: if someone unsubscribed before, they stay unsubscribed after the import. Remember that the contacts you import must have agreed to hear from you.
