Can I sell consultations with heyhey?

Yes. With heyhey you can sell one-off consultations and offer free calls. You create a consultation product, set your availability and send your client the public link to your booking calendar.

Is the calendar available on the Starter plan?

Yes, including on Starter, which costs AED 0 forever. A consultation is a product, so it counts towards your plan’s product limit. Starter lets you create one product, for example one consultation. If you already have a course or an ebook, you’ll need a free product slot in your plan for another one. See pricing.

Can a consultation be free?

Yes. For a free consultation, your client books a time without paying. Use it for an introductory call, to talk through a client’s needs, or to meet someone who is interested in your offer.

How does a paid consultation work?

You set a one-off price and connect a payment provider. A paid consultation gives your client one meeting. heyhey takes 0% commission on your sales; your payment provider charges its own fees. The payment methods available depend on the provider you connect: Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal.

Do I need my own website?

No. You can send people your public booking link. You can also add the consultation to your Link in Bio page, where the calendar appears right on the product’s page. In the website editor or the email builder, you can add a button that leads to this calendar. Sharing your calendar.

Where does the call take place?

In the consultation settings, you enter a link to your own online meeting, for example in Zoom or Google Meet. You can also choose a phone call or an in-person meeting and add instructions. heyhey passes the details on to your client, but it doesn’t create a video room automatically.

Will my client get a reminder?

You can turn on email reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the consultation. Your client also receives emails about the booking and any changes to it. You set your own notifications as the organiser separately. Consultation emails and reminders.

What happens when a paid consultation is cancelled?

Cancelling makes the time slot available to book again, but it doesn’t refund the payment automatically. You handle refunds separately, in your payment provider. Does the calendar sync my other meetings?

At the moment, it takes bookings made in heyhey into account. Add meetings from other tools as blocked time. A calendar file (.ics) lets you add a meeting to your own calendar, but it doesn’t give you two-way sync.
