heyhey is built with data protection in mind. Sign-ups to your list use double opt-in, meaning people confirm their email address, consents are recorded, and every recipient can unsubscribe with one click. We process and store data on servers in the European Union.

You also have full control over your contacts’ data: you can export or delete it at any time, for example in response to a request from the person the data is about. When you import a list from another tool, we never upgrade anyone’s consent status. If someone unsubscribed before, they stay unsubscribed after the import.
