Account and settings

Account settings

Explain it simply with: ChatGPT Claude Perplexity Gemini Grok

Settings is a grid of cards in three groups: account settings, site settings and payment settings. You reach it from the bottom of the side menu or from the menu under your avatar. Every settings page has an All settings link that takes you back to the grid.

Account details

This is where your profile lives.

  • Details. First name, last name, phone number, time zone and avatar. Your first and last name together make up the display name in the top bar and in the greeting on your dashboard.
  • Email is read-only. It’s your login address. If you need to change it, email us at info@heyhey.ae.
  • Time zone is a searchable list where each zone shows its offset from GMT. It’s used to schedule your campaigns and automations, and to pick the time-of-day greeting on your dashboard.
  • Avatar. Choose an image from the media library or upload a new one. Around 100 × 100 pixels works well. When an avatar is set, a button to remove it appears. Without an avatar, you see your initial in a coloured circle.
  • Contact details. Address, unit number, city, state or region, postal code and country. This is your account address, kept in your account records.

Nothing saves on its own: confirm your changes with the Save button at the top.

Sign-in and security

This is a separate card.

  • Password. You see when it was last changed, or a note that it never has been. Changing your password opens a window that first asks for your current password, then for the new one twice. Minimum eight characters.
  • Active sessions. Every browser where you’re logged in, with the browser and operating system name, IP address and time of last activity. Your current session is marked This device. The button to log out other sessions ends them all at once and asks for your password first.

Notifications and privacy

This section decides which activity emails reach your account address. The toggles are grouped:

  • Account and security. Password reset and login emails are always sent and can’t be turned off. You can turn on alerts about a disabled webhook endpoint and about a newly connected app.
  • Sales and leads. New sale, new lead.
  • Subscriptions and payments. Cancelled, paused, resumed, failed payment, payment requiring authorisation.
  • Community. New comment, off by default.
  • Weekly summary. One Monday email about sales, leads, subscribers and site visits.

When you’re done, click Save changes. These toggles only affect emails. The bell in the top bar still shows everything, see Quick search and shortcuts.
