Logging in and resetting your password
Two kinds of people log in to heyhey, in two different places. Sending someone to the right door solves most “I can’t log in” requests.
You, the account owner
Open your heyhey dashboard and log in with your account. You’ll find the password reset on the login page: enter your email address, and a link to set a new password arrives in your inbox.
Your members
Your customers and members log in on your own domain, in your member area. Their password reset lives there too and carries your branding. Members don’t log in to the heyhey dashboard: their accounts exist on your site, so a member who writes to heyhey about logging in will be sent back to you.
Checklist for a stuck login
- Find out who the person is and which address they’re trying to log in on. Most stuck logins are the right password at the wrong door.
- Ask them to use the reset link and to check their spam folder for the email.
- Still not working? Email support with the email address and the URL where the login attempt happens, see Contacting support.
